What does it cost to use WhyDonate?
WhyDonate is free and charges 0% platform fees, no sign-up fees, and no monthly costs. Therefore, it is the most affordable donation platform.
- WhyDonate's payment provider charges a fee for payment processing. These costs are passed on to the recipient of the donations and are as follows:

- However, in rare cases, the transaction costs can be a bit higher due to the type of payment method used. For example, if the payment was made in a different currency or with a non-EU or business credit card, the type of credit card can increase the costs.
- To continue to offer the WhyDonate platform for free, the donor is asked for a voluntary tip.
- Users cannot disable the tip option on their donation forms. Fundraisers that already have this setting keep it, but it can’t be changed for existing or new forms (including embedded forms)
