How does a donation appear on my bank statement?
If you have made a donation, the name of our partner payment service provider, "Stripe", will appear. Stripe is a certified Payment Service Provider in Europe with a PSD2 license and a PCI DSS certificate. It handles all incoming payments (donations) and payouts (to charities) for us. The following text can be seen in the description:
Donation to “name of the cause” (this is the name of the page where you made the donation).
Tip: In case of a SEPA Direct Debit (direct debit payment), it takes about 5 working days before the payment is visible on your bank.
