# How to change the email settings?

WhyDonate sends automated messages to notify you of activities within your account. For example, you will receive an email as soon as you receive a donation or message. You can turn such emails on and off as you prefer.

Adjust email settings
1. Log in to your [WhyDonate Account](https://whydonate.com/en/account/login).
2. Click on 'Email settings'.
3. Select the emails you want to disable and click 'Save'.
